Who says over the age of 50 you can't be successful? Do you know how many people have started businesses over the age of 50 and achieved extraordinary success? Below we will discuss various ways to succeed after the age of 50 in the style of world figures.

Examples of success are all around you, and you may not realize it. Nestle, Coca Cola, Mc Donalds, IBM, Porsche, Starbucks and KFC are examples of proven success among people over 50 years old.

1. Henri Nestle
At the age of 50, Henri Nestle invited his friends to work together to make baby porridge products made from milk. This is because he saw that many babies who were allergic to mother's milk could not survive without their mother's breast milk. This milk porridge product then sold very well and the company grew to produce many products such as sweetened condensed milk, chocolate milk and instant coffee. Until now, Nestle has developed into a multi-national company with sales to many countries, especially poor countries, because Nestle products are relatively cheap.

2. Ray Kroc
Ray Kroc was originally a salesman for a milkshake making machine. In the course of his business, he discovered a restaurant managed by the Mac Donalds brothers, which he considered efficient, clean, and guaranteed standard taste and quality. Kroc then invited them to work together to create a franchise. Not long afterward, this franchise opened in many places in America. Mc Donalds has also become a pioneer in the development of fast food restaurants in America, to date tens of thousands of Mc Donalds restaurants have been opened throughout the world. And do you know how old Ray Kroc was when he offered to collaborate with the Mc Donalds brothers? Yes! He was 52 years old at that time. Success has no Age Limit. You too can be like Kroc.

3. John Stith
Another story is about Coca Cola, which was created by John Stith Pemberton at the age of 55. However, because many people sold Coca Cola below the production price, Pemberton experienced large losses. Pemberton then sold the brand to his friend, Asa Chandler. It was Asa Chandler who then changed the Coca Cola drink into a light dose, with cheaper production costs. Only after that did Coca Cola become a hit and until now it has spread far and wide to various corners of the world.

4. Charles Flint
Charles Flint founded CTR (Computer, Tabulation and Recording Company) which was later changed to IBM (International Business Machine) when he was 61 years old. IBM is a combination of 3 companies that originally produced different products, namely timekeeping products, tabulators and computing machines. Flint learned that by combining many products, sales of one line could offset losses in another. Until now, we see IBM continuing to develop with various product variations and surviving various recessions.

5. Porsche
Porsche was a mechanic from Astro-Hungary (now Czech Republic). He was an inventor who produced many types of military vehicles ordered by the German government during World War 1. Only after he was 56 years old, he founded Porsche which produced racing cars. From there, Porsche created a high-tech car which is famous for its high speed and high quality. Until now, Porsche has become a brand that is famous throughout the world, with prices in the billions.

6. Gordon Bowker
Gordon Bowker is a writer who created the Starbucks brand when he was 51 years old, because of his love of coffee drinks. He creates various types of coffee drinks that people like and sell a lot on the market. Until finally Edward Schultz bought the copyright for 3 million US dollars, and made Starbucks a coffee shop chain that was famous throughout the world. Apart from creating the Starbucks brand, Bowker also created other brands such as Red Hook Brewery and Peets Coffee, which later became successful and became hits, and like Starbucks, were bought at high prices by investors.

7. Harland Sanders
Harland Sanders is an orphan who experienced a sad time where he had to care for and make food for his two younger siblings when he was only 5 years old. At the age of 7 he was already good at making bread. In his youth and adulthood he went through various types of work, from being a soldier, running a ship business, to being appointed colonel by the governor of Kentucky. Since the age of 40 he has been creating crispy fried chicken recipes. He offers it to many restaurants. But only when he was 62 years old, the recipe was bought by Pete Harman, a restaurant owner from Utah, as an additional menu in his restaurant. However, the fried chicken product from Sanders pushed sales at the restaurant to triple, with sales of Sanders' fried chicken reaching 75% of its total sales. Harman then franchised his restaurant and registered the patent for Kentucky Fried Chicken. Sanders then received a franchise of $0.04 from every sale of a piece of KFC fried chicken he created.

How? The people described above became world figures because they did not give up on circumstances and said; "I'm old, I can't do anything anymore." However, they argue that age is not a limitation. In fact, when they are over 50 years old, they have more experience. They also have more friends with the same amount of experience.
