This record also has the potential to be broken by Ronaldo, who will be 39 years and 130 days old on the opening day of the tournament.
- Top Goal Scorers at the Euros (Players)
French legend Michel Platini is the top scorer in a single edition of the Euros, scoring nine goals in the 1984 edition of the tournament, including two hat-tricks. However, this record could be broken this summer.
