The lights are also sophisticated because apart from adopting LED technology, this motorbike's lights also use a dual projector model which is equipped with DRL.

The Yamaha Nmax Turbo is still powered by a 155cc engine with Blue Core technology and Variable Valve Actuation (VVA), the engine produces a maximum power of 11.3 kW at 8000 rpm and peak torque of 14.2 Nm at 6500 rpm.
This machine is also equipped with a 'Turbo' system called Y-Shift which provides a choice of three acceleration modes: low, medium and high, for optimal performance in various driving situations. Apart from that, this motorbike is also equipped with a Yamaha Electric CVT (YECVT) system replacing the CVT previously used. This ensures a smooth and responsive transmission.
"YECVT replaces the function of the conventional mechanism on a CVT whose movement uses rollers, which use centrifugal force. This function is replaced with YECVT," said General Manager Marketing - Public Relations of PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing, Antonius Widiantoro.
What is the Turbo Function?
YECVT is the turbo function described by Yamaha. This feature was then combined with Yshift. Yshift itself is an instant acceleration feature of the Yamaha Nmax Turbo which can be accessed via the button on the rider's left.
This Yshift performs instant acceleration like 'Turbo'. There are 3 levels to choose from, namely low, medium and high. Yamaha's internal test results state that the motorbike can accelerate faster when covering a distance of 200 meters compared to the previous Nmax.
This feature is suitable for operation when you want to overtake the vehicle in front, over an incline, or when driving a tandem.
